If you downloaded before 8:30 pm est do this to fix the box sizes

I made a css boo boo and just posted a new block for download. The quick fix is to change line

to this

Code:

			<title>Beta Showing of DORC</title>
			<link>http://www.phpaugusta.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=53&amp;Itemid=2</link>
			<description>

We have created a new calendar system class that displays any type of event in a span of days instead of individual blocks. We were inspired by plans calendar which is written in PERL so Dave and I wrote it in PHP. There is no javascript controling any of the calendar so even if a user turns off javascript, it will still work. The concept is to build your own query and then pass a defined array to the calendar and it will render exactly what you pass it . This can include ICAL files or CSV files or just a simple formatted array. We&amp;#39;ll post examples but for now we are looking for input before we allow anyone to test it. If you have any comments, make a post in the Forums under the Category DORC. By the way, DORC stands for Dynamically Organized Recursive Calendar. The class is 14K and 382 lines long so it&amp;#39;s pretty compact. If anyone has an ICAL parser for repeating events and want to share it with us, we&amp;#39;d appreciate it. ICAL hurts our heads.

			<title>Replacement EXT JS file for TARR (now 72k)</title>
			<link>http://www.phpaugusta.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=50&amp;Itemid=2</link>
			<description>I re-built the ext-all.js file for TARR that was 450 k with only the
needed extensions and then compressed it down to 72k. If you pull this
file just rename your current /modules/js /ext-all.js file to something else and drop this into the /modules/js directory. Post in the forums if you have any
problems.

			<link>http://www.phpaugusta.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=48&amp;Itemid=2</link>
			<description>
I posted an update to readRSS2.php file for TARR that should fix the problems with people who do not have mbstring extension loaded. (mb_convert_encoding error) . Existing users can pull it and overwrite and new users just download the main file as it includes the fix.

Let us know where your using it and post in the forums so people can see examples of TARR in action.

			<title>TARR Beta 1 released for download</title>
			<link>http://www.phpaugusta.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=47&amp;Itemid=2</link>
			<description>
TARR Beta 1 download (index.php?option=com_docman task=doc_download gid=28)

This module uses a bit of space so don&amp;#39;t try and put it in a side module. And no were not going to make this an option to shrink it.

I tried to make the backend clear to set up the module but thats why it&amp;#39;s beta. If you have an idea, post it in the forums in the TARR Section.

It&amp;#39;s using Jack Slocum&amp;#39;s ext 1.0.1a to jquery 1.1.2 connection. This is testing time before final release (load up those browsers and post in forums).

   1. It allows for a site to set default feeds that can&amp;#39;t be removed.
   2. Allows site to set favorites that can&amp;#39;t be removed and for users to add the feeds they want to keep and re-add them again after being removed from the tab view.
   3. Cookies to save the tabs and favorites for the return visits.
   4. An add feed bar for users to add additional feeds.
   5. Can parse video feeds into the viewer (ex. you tube)

			<link>http://www.phpaugusta.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=43&amp;Itemid=2</link>
			<description>
Andrew and I have put together a new RSS Reader using Tabs and Jquery with simplepie as the parser. It is called TARR. Have a look down below and let us know what you think in the forums. It is not ready for download yet (soon). You can only beg for it.

	It allows for a site to set default feeds that can&amp;#39;t be removed.
	A favorites bar for users to add the feeds they want to keep and re-add them again after being removed from the tab view.
	Cookies to save the tabs for the return visits.
	An add feed bar for users to add additional feeds.

	Promotes world peace. (This part is kinda buggy atm. )

The safari browser check fix was causing a problem with IE browsers. I have corrected the problem and tested it on FF, IE6, IE7, Safari (thanks http://www.browsrcamp.com/ ). I also added on a check for konqueror but I can&amp;#39;t validate it yet until I get home and switch to KDE so if someone wants to check it out just post in the forums if it works or not.

Browser Checks (http://browsershots.org/website/http://www.stroz.us/php/#success)   (http://browsershots.org/website/http://www.stroz.us/php/#success)

Just download the mod_dbrss2 v. 2.2.7 patch and overwrite your existing file in modules directory. If no one reports a problem with this drop, I&amp;#39;ll re-package and release.

OK. I&amp;#39;ve had a terrible week with this mod. I kept putting up the wrong load for you guys. If you&amp;#39;ve had any problems (btw back up your current load if you can so if it breaks you can recover easy) just download the one that is current and overwrite what is there. Let me know in the forums if ya have problems. 3 day weekend. Lots of coding to do.

I just caught a bug with the xml file for the module. I forgot to include the tooltip image in the xml install. You can manually move the file into the images directory and it will work fine

 Just save this image and put it into modules/images and if you have tooltips on this image will appear before it.

I am fixing source on this also. Sorry about the screw up.

			<title>New Beta release of RSS Reader</title>
			<link>http://www.phpaugusta.com/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=14&amp;Itemid=2</link>
			<description>
A new beta of AJAX RSS Reader (mod_dbrss2) is available for Joomla 1.0.x. You can download it from here (index.php?option=com_docman task=doc_download gid=1 Itemid=32) or by clicking on download. You can also get it from Joomlaforge (http://forge.joomla.org/sf/frs/do/downloadFile/projects.ajax_rss_reader_with_draggable_d/frs.mod_dbrss2.mod_dbrss2/frs7590?dl=1). Post in the forums of any problems.

Changes:

1) Added tooltips that are configurable from backend.

2) Updated the RSS Parser

3) Cleaned up a few things that were causing some errors for some people.

 **Note

The default cache time for the reader is 60 minutes. If you need for the parser to update the cached file more often then open modules/simplepie/simplepie.inc and search for

var $cache_duration = 60;

and change it to 5 or 10 or whatever. I will make this a option in the future since I just now realized I forgot to add it on. I blame society.

New users just install it normal and current users of the mod_dbrss2 can just unzip this file and overwrite the existing files.

Clean out all files in the cache directory and go to the backend
and go thru the new settings. They are pretty self explanatory I think
:)
